GulfERP The cloud ERP and POS for Kuwait's trading companies

Sales, purchasing, stock, point of sale and accounts in one cloud system, in Arabic and English, with WhatsApp built in. Set up for Kuwait: KWD to 3 decimals, 5-fils rounding, KNET at the till and post-dated cheques.

GulfERP

GulfERP by Q8Digital brings sales, purchasing, stock, point of sale and accounts together in one cloud system, in Arabic and English, with WhatsApp built in. Nothing to install: it runs in the browser on PC, tablet and phone, and every sale updates stock, the customer's balance and the accounts at the same moment.

It follows the way Kuwaiti businesses work: amounts in KWD to 3 decimals, 5-fils cash rounding, KNET, card and WAMD recorded at the till, post-dated cheques that count against credit limits, and a Kuwait chart of accounts mapped for Qayd, with an XBRL draft on the IFRS taxonomy.

GulfERP is set up for six industries, each with its own demo company:

  • General trading and wholesale
  • Supermarkets and grocery chains
  • Spare parts dealers
  • Tyre and car accessory centres
  • Oil and gas safety suppliers
  • Salons, barbershops, spas and home-service beauticians

Book a free demo and we will walk you through the demo company for your industry, in Arabic or English.

What it does

The main capabilities, all available today.

  • Landed cost spread by value or quantity, on the invoice or a separate customs or forwarder bill
  • Weighted-average cost updated on every receipt
  • Goods received not invoiced tracked, and one invoice can bill several receipts
  • Reorder suggestions per warehouse that create draft purchase orders or transfers

Inventory

Questions about GulfERP

No. GulfERP runs in the browser on PC, tablet and phone. The point of sale can be installed as an app on the till, and it keeps selling if the internet drops, then syncs when the connection is back.

Yes. Every screen, print and message is in Arabic and English, and each user chooses their own language. Arabic runs right to left, and prints can carry both languages on one page, including the amount in words.

Your chart of accounts is mapped to the IFRS taxonomy, and GulfERP produces the year-end statements and an XBRL draft from it, checked before download. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has not yet published its official taxonomy; once it does, we update the mapping. Filing on the Qayd portal is still done by your team.

The till records KNET, card and WAMD payments next to cash, and the card-settlement voucher reconciles them with the bank. The card itself is still tapped on your bank's terminal.

Yes. Items, customers, suppliers, opening stock, opening balances and open invoices import from Excel using bilingual templates. Every file is checked before import, with errors shown by row and column, and we help you prepare the files.

Each company is isolated inside the database with row-level security, backups run every night and are copied off-site, users get roles and branch limits, and an audit log records every change.

General trading and wholesale, supermarkets, spare parts, tyres and car accessories, oil and gas safety supplies, and salons and spas. Each has its own demo company, so you see GulfERP the way your business works.
